- Freshmen & Seniors:
- 6:30 PM Lifegroup (starting with dinner!)
- 7:30 PM The Friday Night at 2060 VLSB
- Post-TFN Activity: Bowling!
- Sophomores & Juniors
- 6:30 PM Somegroup (by which we mean your homegroup or lifegroup or cluster!) is getting dinner. Probably doing one (but not all) of these things: tennis, barbecue, football & pizza, pictures of my life, and more). Check with your Lifegroup lead.
- 9:30 PM The Friday Night at Buffet Town, 2nd floor.
Trying some new things this week. Exciting stuff. See you there!

It wasn’t really a road trip. Just a small one, maybe. The guys headed out to the Emeryville Marina, discussing deep philosophical questions on the car ride over (What are reasons people give for not following God or Christianity?), and then chowing down on delicious pulled pork sandwiches (many of the guys ate 3 of them). Once there, we got into our LIFE Groups, talked briefly about some of our prayer requests and areas of need in each of our lives, and were reminded of Jesus’ grand invitation in Matthew 11:28-30. It’s cool living life with friends.

After that, it was off to Bay Street (by democratic vote), where most of us got hot chocolate and a couple brave souls got ice cream. We sat around, drawing a lot of attention (the security guards all surrounded us at one point), saw one of the frosh girls LIFE Groups, and then took off for home.

Quote of the night:
(at the Marina, huddled together, the sun is gone, the wind is biting)
ME: Hey, are you cold?
Brother J: No. (dramatic pause) I’m a man.
(wild applause)

We took some pictures while we were at the Marina, and even at Bay Street. The coolest picture has to be us mugging an album cover in the light of the setting sun. Make sure you make it out next week.
