Koinonia is a UC Berkeley student ministry that meets weekly to study the Bible and hear out God’s perspective. We talk, discuss & ask questions about the big and important things in life. And along the way we hang out, eat some “jus’ like momma used to make it” good food, study really hard, and “do life” together. After all, life has it’s ups and downs, and college has no shortage of its own thrills, boredoms, unexpected challenges, and lonely moments – but the upside is that we can do it all together as we build a community of faith around the love of God.
What to Expect
Life Groups
Life Groups (aka small groups) are cozier groups where you can make friends, find out more about God and basically do life together. We know life can get crazy sometimes, which is why we say “find some friends to do it with you!” To give you a picture of what we do: we meet up throughout the week as often as you like And what’s the point of meeting without some AWESOME FOOD!
Fellowship
Koinonia is Greek for “fellowship” which basically means we’re like family. Come see for yourself by checking out one of our events or joining a Life Group! If you think these pictures are awesome, think about how much more awesome the real deal is!
Student Council 2012-13
We're Here to Help!
We’re the Koinonia Berkeley Student Council and we’re here to serve you! We reserve rooms, help plan activities (like the New Student Welcome Night), represent our group to the Berkeley Campus, and a whole lot more. We'd love to get to know you and hope to run into you at one of our events! Go Bears!
