Junior Bros Yosemite Trip

To finish off a fun filled July 4th week, the Junior Bros decided to camp it out at our favorite “local” national park: YOSEMITE! I think most of us would agree that it was one of the more manlier moments in our lives as we roughed it from Friday to Sunday with no showers and nothing but the fresh green Yosemite Breeze to cover up our manliness. In way more ways than one, the theme of our trip was captured in one word: DEVASTATING (c) Jin Kim.
Our trip started off with the early crew leaving Friday morning. Once we got to Yosemite, we spent some time going through Tuolumne Meadows by trekking part of the John Muir trail. It was a really nice easy hike where we just enjoyed the trees, creeks and streams. We took a break at the crossroads of bridges where we were able to wade the water and feel that crisp clear Yosemite water through our toes. I hope the water doesn’t lead anywhere important…

That night, the rest of the crew joined us at our campsite and we prepared for our big hike on sat: the Panoramic Trail. As the name suggests, it was a very scenic hike starting off with an awesome view of Half Dome.

It was a pretty rigorous hike with its fair share of switchbacks and hills, but we would all agree that we pretty much saw the best Yosemite had to offer.

AND we had some nice rest stops where we could take our shoes off and get our feet wet! literally! Joke!

be safe brother!

We had a DEVASTATING (c) lunch spot where we sat near the edge of a cliff that had what looked like a 10000000 ft drop. But what made it DEVASTATING (c) was not the life-threatening environment, but the amazing-up close and personal view of Half-Dome. No picture can gave this lunch spot justice…
And to cap it off we went down the long and steep Misty Trail, where we were able to pass by both Vernal and Nevada Falls! The stairs were pretty steep (reminded us of Lord of the Rings)

To where shall we go next?
