Koinonia Welcome Night & Game Night

As we ended the first full week of school, we were all looking forward to two exciting events – Koinonia Welcome Night on Thursday and Game Night on Friday!
On Thursday, we gathered outside of 2050 VLSB on the lawn to eat a scrumptious dinner and broke up into smaller groups to get to know each other.
Afterward, we went inside and got to hear from Jenny, Lloyd, and Suzanne as they shared their different journeys with God.
For our Game Night on Friday, we had dinners by lifegroup and came together at Durant Loft to have an intense night of games with class competition! We formed groups by class (Go Freshmen! 
) and played games like Taboo and Pictionary and Minute to Win It!
We then had a ping-pong tournament and in the end, brought out our secret champion challenger!
Steve showed us that age doesn’t matter in ping-pong as he held onto his title of reigning champion! Better luck next time! 
Finally, we ended the night with a huge King Kong Shower tournament! Props to the sophomores and juniors who defeated everyone else! Looks like the rest of us will have to practice harder for the next tournament!
Whew! What a way to end the week! I can’t believe it’s only been a week and a half since school started, but already, so much has happened. Can’t wait to see what we’ll be doing in the coming weeks!
