November’s totally here! Weather’s colder, deadlines come faster, it gets dark earlier… Depressing? Well, November brings it own set of blessings too: good food, a chance to go home for several days, Thanksgiving Celebration!
Homegroup Announcements
- IncomParable Wisdom bible study tonight at 2050 VLSB, 7:00p (Updated time!). Afterwards, it’s TC practice. Don’t forget: aerobics, JaiHo, the glorious 80s. Be ready. And don’t wear boots!
- Thanksgiving Celebration is 11/22. Mark it on your calendars. Service at Kofman Theater in Alameda, then the Thanksgiving Celebration performances on the gigantic Kofman stage, and then Thanksgiving Feast all together as Koinonia.
- Angel Tree. Christmas niceness and love for children of inmates. They can’t give their kids gifts. We can on their behalf, and as a way to share the love during the Christmas season. It’s a ministry of Prison Fellowship we participate in. If you’d like to participate with us, comment below.

And happy birthday, Brianna! Wahoo!! We celebrated at last week’s Thanksgiving Practice. Jenny did this cool, diversionary tactic, “Let’s stretch. Up and down, and up and down, and reach. Reach. And… Happy birthday to you [insert music].”
And some guys, frosh through juniors, went out to Hot Pot this past week. For no real apparent reason, I think, other than the fact that there was a day off on Wednesday. Here’s some of them caught in the act.
