Friday, Oct 30 – Bible Study + TC Practice
- Bible Study this week starts 7:30pm @ 155 Dwinelle. We’re starting off with some DESSERT! So everyone go invite a friend to join us for some hot BOBA in this suddenly cold weather, before we dive into another profound parable of Incomparable Wisdom.
- After Bible study, we’re having our first Thanksgiving Celebration (TC) practice! Here’s the TC trailer we showed last year. You have to come for the unveiling of our exciting idea!
Saturday, Oct 31 – Halloween Harvest Potluck & Movie Extravaganza
6:30pm in Alameda
Along with Emily & Ray’s homegroup, we’re having a scrumptious harvest-colored POTLUCK and MOVIE. It’s rumored that we might be watching some epic like Lord of the Rings! So find a group of two or three and sign up online so we know who’s bringing what and who needs a ride!
Need ideas on what to bring? Here’s some foods that are of harvesty-looking colors. Of course, if you can’t manage those colors, just bring something tasty!
Important Reminders
- Sign up for the Thanksgiving Retreat that’ll be on Sat, Nov 7. This is one of our favorite retreats of the year, full of reports about all the happened in our church this past year, year-end videos from different departments, and powerful testimonies by people about how God has worked in their lives and what they are thankful for.
- Remember to set your clock back one hour when you go to bed on Saturday, or you’ll be really early to church!
