Nostalgic? Need Something to Do?
Sep 2, 2009
Can’t believe NSWN is over already? Let’s take a quick break and remember everything that was behind putting NSWN together!
Initial planning:

Setting up the stage:

Setting up the lights:

Setting up the screens and projectors:

Untangling all the wires:

Designing and printing and passing out flyers:

Skit practice:

Setting up the balloons and welcome tables:

Friendly greeters:

Setting up the food:

Working the cameras:

Sound ninjas:

The command center – this is not a mac commercial:

Getting the band out:

And this doesn’t even mention those who faithfully handed out fliers on campus and spread the word about our event, who handled room reservations, planned and organized the night’s schedule and all of the equipment, who rented the lights, designed the stage, made sure we had enough food to feed several hundred people, and who faithfully prayed for our event… not to mention countless others whose contributions are just as much important to making everything run smoothly! Thanks to everyone – we couldn’t have done it without you!

And each person we meet through NSWN makes it all worth it.
So… now that NSWN is over, are you looking for the next best thing to do? Looking to get more connected? Then check out our Koinonia Welcome Night this Thursday! We’re going to start with a free dinner at 6 at VLSB (Valley Life Sciences Building), and the program will start at 7:30. Be sure to make it – hope to see you all there!
