Mountaintop Cookout and Home Worship Service

Friday evening started off with delicious food in the First Pres courtyard, including homemade Kimbap from Vivian’s Mom. And it only got more exciting from there! After another engaging Truth Haters message, our group took a short drive up the mountain to get an awesome night view of the bay.

I personally can’t imagine a better way to enjoy the view than with hot links and clam chowder. No one left with an empty stomach or an empty heart (i.e. great fellowship!).

On Sunday, we enjoyed one of our final home worship services, starting as always with delicious home-cooked food. I’ll definitely miss these cozy Sunday summer afternoons, especially as we have such an awesome praise band and great Truth Project messages to go through.

Happy Birthday Kim!
Next week will be our last home worship service (sad!). Summer is quickly coming to an end and I’m going to miss it, but I’m equally excited about the upcoming semester. We’ve got lots of activities planned for Welcome Week (check the main page for details). That’s all for now!

these look suspiciously similar to dan and hannah’s mountaintop experience.. hmmm i wonder why… maybe because they both look really fun! lol
can’t think of anything better than yummy sausages and a nice cool view of the east bay, with lots of friends!
